The Board of Visitors Care Card

Over the past 24 years, The Board of Visitors Care Card program has become Arizona’s largest retail fundraising event! Shoppers purchase the Care Card for $60 and receive a 20% discount at hundreds of local retailers and restaurants during a 10-day shopping period. Sponsor support allows The Board of Visitors to maximize Care Card proceeds for our beneficiaries. The Board of Visitors is the oldest women’s charitable organization in Arizona and since its inception has granted over $26 million to nonprofit organizations who serve the healthcare needs of women, children and the elderly in the greater Phoenix community.

The Big Pink Bus: 3D Mobile Mammography Service

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center has launched a 3D Mobile Mammography Unit, The Big Pink Bus, which will offer nearby access to high-quality screening and breast cancer information. Mammograms reduce breast cancer deaths by 40%, yet one-third of eligible women in Arizona do not get their screening mammograms. Early detection is key to saving lives! Women whose mammograms detect cancer will have access to a multidisciplinary breast cancer program that leverages integrated care across breast cancer specialties, using the latest technologies, treatments, and research. Help us increase screening and early detection of breast cancer!
